Pathological Analysis
- Analysis 1: According to Golden Mirror of Medicine, this condition is caused by the heat in the gallbladder meridian transferring to the brain marrow internally, and the external contraction of wind – cold stagnating the fire pathogen. Yellow – turbid nasal discharge flows out of the nasal cavity from time to time. If it persists for a long time without recovery, there will be a fishy – smelly bloody fluid dripping from the nose, accompanied by dizziness and headache. This is definitely due to worms eroding the brain, which is called “Kong Nao Sha”.
- Analysis 2: This disease is commonly known as “brain leakage”. It can be triggered by influenza, acute infectious diseases, or the growth of nasal polyps. The main symptoms of this disease include a foul smell in the nose, decreased sense of smell, mucus – like or purulent nasal discharge that drips out, a feeling of pressure or pain in the affected area. In severe cases, dull pain occurs at the root of the nose and in the eye sockets, and the nerves above the eyebrows also hurt.
