- Lama Wine (from “Qianzhai Jianxiao Fang”)
Prescription: 4 liang of Juglandis Semen, 4 liang of Longan Arillus, 1 liang of Lycii Fructus, 1 liang of Polygoni Multiflori Radix, 1 liang of Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata, 5 qian of Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma, 5 qian of Angelicae Sinensis Radix, 5 qian of Chuanxiong Rhizoma, 5 qian of Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix, 5 qian of Eucommiae Cortex, 5 qian of Paeoniae Radix Alba, 5 qian of Siegesbeckiae Herba, 5 qian of Poria, 5 qian of Moutan Cortex, 2 qian and 5 fen of Amomi Fructus Rotundus, 2 qian and 5 fen of Linderae Radix.
Function: For hemiplegia, wind arthralgia and numbness.
Dosage: Put the above medicinal herbs in a silk bag, soak them in 5 dou of mellow wine in a porcelain bottle. Stew it over water until thick. After it cools down, add 15 dou of high-proof flower wine. Seal and store it for 7 days, then it can be taken.

- Faji Decoction (from “Shishi Milu”)
Prescription: 1 qian of Ginseng Radix, 3 qian of Astragali Radix, 1 qian of Angelicae Sinensis Radix, 3 qian of Paeoniae Radix Alba, 3 qian of Poria, 5 qian of Coicis Semen, 5 qian of Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma, 1 qian of Pinelliae Rhizoma, 5 fen of Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae, 3 fen of Cinnamomi Cortex.
Function: For those whose both feet are numb due to the invasion of dampness and they can’t walk on the ground, and whose both hands can’t hold things.
Dosage: Decoct in water and take orally. - Atractylodis Rhizoma and Coicis Semen Decoction (from “Jianming Yigou”)
Prescription: 2 qian of processed Atractylodis Rhizoma, 1 qian of stir-fried Coicis Semen, 1 qian of Angelicae Sinensis Radix, 1 qian of Paeoniae Radix, 1 qian of Cinnamomi Ramulus, 1 qian of Ephedrae Herba, 5 fen of Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma.
Function: For pain, numbness and inability to flex and extend in the hands and feet due to the flow and stagnation of pathogenic factors.
Dosage: Add 5 slices of ginger, decoct in water and take orally. If there is sweating, remove Ephedrae Herba; if there is heat, remove Cinnamomi Ramulus. - Ginseng Tiaoyuan Decoction (from “Dantai Yu’an”)
