Treatment Experience of the Ancients
“Song of the Elbow Posterior”: When there is pain in the center of the top of the head and the eyes can’t be opened, needling the Yongquan acupoint will make the feet at ease. Medical Cases
[Case 1]: Miss Huang, 25 years old, from Taiwan, lived on Zhongzheng Road, Taipei City. She suffered from pain in the top of the head. The pain was right in the middle of the top of the head (i.e., the Baihui acupoint), as heavy as being pressed by a stone, and it didn’t stop for three days and nights. She just felt her eyes closed and her neck shrunk, and the pain was unbearable. On May 30, 1964, she came to me for diagnosis and treatment. After needling the Yongquan acupoint twice, she was cured.
[Case 2]: Mr. Zhao, 55 years old, from Gaomi, Shandong Province, lived on Zhonghua Road, Taipei City. He had suffered from pain in the top of the head for several months. After taking medicine and having injections several times, there was no effect. On April 28, 1964, introduced by Mr. Zhu and Mr. Kong, he asked me to diagnose and treat him. I selected the above acupoint and needled it twice, and then the pain stopped.
[Case 3]: Mrs. Luan, 54 years old, from Shandong Province, lived on Taiping Road, Xindian Town, Taipei County.
