Introduction of Acupoints
Yingxiang: Located one cun and five fen below the eye, one cun diagonally upward from Heliao, and five fen outside the nasal cavity.
Shangxing: Located one cun straight into the hairline above the tip of the nose.

Tongtian: Located one cun and five fen behind Chengguang, half a cun in front of Baihui, and one cun and half away from the middle line.
Hegu: Located in the depression between the metacarpal bones of the thumb and the index finger of the hand.
Feishu: Located below the third vertebra, one cun and five fen on both sides away from the spine.

Analysis of Etiology and Pathology
[Analysis 1]: There are various nasal diseases: “There are pain and itchiness inside the nose, clear nasal discharge, continuous nasal bleeding, rotten and perforated nostrils, worms growing inside the nose, sores growing inside the nose, sores growing outside the nose, hemorrhoids growing inside the nose, blockage and numbness of the nasal bridge, redness of the nasal tip, the nose becoming as big as a fist with excruciating pain, nasal congestion with water flowing out, not being able to smell scents or odors for a long time, hair growing inside the nose which can grow one or two feet in a day and night, gradually becoming as thick as a rope and unbearably painful, a red line about a chi long hanging from the nose with extremely severe pain that makes one want to die. Medical Cases
[Case 1]: Mr. Sun, 36 years old, from Penglai, Shandong Province, lived on Tonghua Street, Taipei City. He suffered from soreness and itchiness inside the nose, redness of the nasal tip, dryness, pain and unbearable itchiness inside the nose, soreness and swelling in both eyes, continuous flowing of nasal discharge and tears, dizziness, and rubbing couldn’t relieve the itchiness. On April 1, the 56th year of the Republic of China, he asked for diagnosis and treatment. After needling “Yingxiang, Shangxing, Tongtian, Hegu, Feishu”, he was cured.
[Case 2]: Ms. Lu, 50 years old, from Henan Province, lived on Linyi Street, Taipei City. She suffered from unbearable soreness and itchiness inside the nose for three years. She sought treatment from many famous Chinese and Western doctors, but all were ineffective. On January 28, the 58th year of the Republic of China, she asked for diagnosis and treatment. By selecting the above acupoints, after needling four times successively, she was cured.
