Introduction of Acupoints
Cuanzhu: Located in the depression between the two eyebrows.
Touwei: Located at the corner of the forehead entering the hairline, one cun and five fen beside Benshen, and four cun and five fen beside Shenting.
Sizhukong: Located in the depression at the outer end of the eyebrow tail.
The tips of the ears: Located at the tip of the auricle, and it can be located by folding the ear.
Taiyang: Located in the depression behind the eyebrow, on the purple veins of Taiyang.

Analysis of Etiology and Pathology
[Analysis 1]: According to “Shenshi Yaohan Yu”: The eyes have five wheels, which belong to the five internal organs. The upper and lower eyelids belong to the earth of the spleen. The spleen governs the flesh, so it is called the flesh wheel. The inner and outer canthi belong to the heart fire. The heart governs the blood, so it is called the blood wheel. The white of the eye belongs to the metal of the lung. The lung governs qi, so it is called the qi wheel. The iris belongs to the wood of the liver. The liver governs wind, so it is called the wind wheel. The pupil belongs to the water of the kidney. The kidney governs water, so it is called the water wheel. It can be known that the eyes are related to the essence of the five internal organs. For all sudden redness and pain, photophobia and aversion to light, it is called external obstruction, which is a excess syndrome. For long-term pain, blurred vision, small and sunken symptoms, it is called internal obstruction, which is a deficiency syndrome. The excess syndrome is due to wind-heat, and the deficiency syndrome is due to less blood. When both eyes are red, the color is like rouge, or red veins run through the eyes, with photophobia and aversion to light, and even tears, this disease mostly belongs to wind-heat attacking from above, or fire being stagnated above, resulting in congestion of the eyeball. So the eyes are red and painful. If it is caused by liver heat attacking upward, the eyes are mostly red but not very painful.

Medical Cases
[Case 1]: Mr. Song, 45 years old, from Shandong Province, lived in Section 1, Keelung Road, Taipei City. He suffered from redness and swelling of both eyes. His eyelids were like bells, with red blood vessels all over his eyes, and he was photophobic and afraid of the sun, suffering unbearably. On March 16, the 54th year of the Republic of China, he asked for diagnosis and treatment. After needling: Cuanzhu, Touwei, Sizhukong, the tips of the ears, and Taiyang, and pricking for blood twice at each acupoint, his symptoms stopped.
[Case 2]: Ms. Shao, 25 years old, from Taiwan Province, lived on Guozhen Street, Sanchong City, Taipei County. She suffered from redness and swelling of both eyes, numerous red blood vessels all over her eyes, blurred vision due to eye discharge and tears, and photophobia and aversion to light. This had lasted for more than seven years. On October 6, the 57th year of the Republic of China, which was the Mid-Autumn Festival (August 15 in the lunar calendar), introduced by Mr. Gao, she asked for diagnosis and treatment. By selecting the above-mentioned acupoints, after needling twice successively, she was cured.
